You know you can look up terms, but what you may not know is that Wikipedia features a ton of other information that can do a lot more than help you with that research paper. Wikipedia can also be a:

TV Episode Guide. Just search for “list of ____ episodes” with the name of the show, and you will see every episode catalogued and summarized, often with trivia and other factoids.
Cliffs Notes Replacement. Don’t want to read that weighty tome for your literature class? Don’t worry, Wikipedia is on your side. Just type in the name of the book, and you will be presented with a plot summary, themes, symbols, and other in-depth analysis.
Learning Activities. This is from Wikiversity, a Wikipedia sister site. Whether you are a student wanting extra practice for a difficult subject or a teacher looking for homework assignments or handouts for your students, Wikiversity provides tutorials and worksheets on subjects ranging from AJAX programming to Philosophy. Wikiversity is currently woefully incomplete, but many subject have lengthy, well-written tutorials.
Stock Images Collection. Need royalty-free stock images for your next web design or desktop publishing project? Turn to Wikimedia Commons, where you can browse images by subject, licence, or author. Call me juvenile, who the hell wants to be grown up, anyway?
I truly loved Halloween and in the past, my sordid past, I would often, for a better word, misbehave. I went egging, even in my 30's and derived great joy from egging big mouth teenagers. "Here ya lil' fuck, a taste of your own medicine, hahahaha," and I'd whip an egg. KAWHOPA!!! SPLAT!!! "How ya like that ya dirty bastards," as I'd make another drive-by to the same kids hanging on the corner, plotting revenge against those assholes, me, that egged them. The 3rd time 'round they'd run like hell when they saw the car, stereo blaring. I could hear 'em, "Oh fuck, here they come again." There'd always be a hard ass fat kid who'd show his bravery by not running but simply walking in the direction the others had run. SPLOOSH, SPLOOSH, he'd get a couple water grenades! Nothing worse than a brave wet guy, hahahaha! Next, saved from the 4th of July, we'd roll smoke bombs into the bars and watch 'em roll out, drunk and pissed, cussing your mother and her sisters. For the neighbor that always called the cops because the stereo was up, he'd get the flaming bag of dog shit on his front porch. Ring the door bell and he's gotta stomp the shit outa it to put the fire out. Oh, and who needs to toilet paper a place when you have a paint gun? You call up the bar and tell 'em that there's a fight outside. Of course the rubberneckers fall out, only to be hit, strategically with paint balls. Oh yes, those were the days and I sure miss 'em.

I look back and realize, I was just a little girl with a woman's body.

I went to see BOA at Constitution Hall, concert #3, maybe? It was 1972, I think I was 13 and my girlfriend Linda Spahr and I, had an almost front row seat. I thought these guys were frigin' gods. I cringed as I watched this video. Pretty talentless and pre-David Lee Roth, Jim Dandy (Magnum) was so hot with his long hair, in my 13 year old mind.
We were in the mist of a smoke factory as joint after joint was passed. That was back in a time when you could smoke in the concerts and you'd light a joint and pass it and never see it again. But never fear, here comes another one and another and another. I had to pee and I knew the intermission was coming. I thought I'd beat the line and go ahead of the crowd, avoiding a long line. When I came out of the Ladies Room, I wandered to a door and thinking it a short cut back to my seat, I walked through the door and found myself right there at the stage right. How the fuck did this happen? The crowd was clapping and chanting as BOA was ready to leave the stage for intermission. They began to walk off and go through another door, right there in front of me. They waved at me and suggested that I come back stage with them. There was Ricochette with his boa constrictor and he was smiling at me, motioning for me to come on. I took one step, then another and I stopped dead in my tracks. I chickened out and they kept going and the door shut. OMG, there went my future as Mrs.Ricochette. There went my opportunity to be a well know slut just like Connie, mentioned in Grand Funks song "American Band."

IZZY 'S BAD DAY

It'd been a busy Monday morn as my Sister took Izzy to the vet to be spayed and she had to have her tail amputated as it was growing back in to herself, instead of outside. I know it makes no sense. Izzy is out of surgery and all as of 4PM yesterday and she'll be home today, with a cone on her head, around lunch time. I imagine, she'll not be a real happy camper but her butt was in peril. The way the tail was growing, it had created a pocket, a rather unsavory thing. So, weighing in at
46 lbs, Isabel was spayed and amputated. You think you had a shitty day, huh?
Izzy is home now, less one tail. She seems just fine, a bit tired but quite well mannered after being fixed and docked. I think I'd have a bit of an attitude. How 'bout you?

Wouldn't it be cool, if we could have a smart car that could read the streets, program it in to the computer and just go. Computer chips could be installed in the streets and it would make it possible for the car to read it and follow it. Just as you now go to a Map Quest and get directions, you'd just program it into your car, your destination and it would read it. Maybe, there'd be an HOV like lane, just for the Smart Car and you'd position your car in it and just go. The car could get you there, and you could actually do your work or be on the cell phone or computer without the possibility of crashing. Of course, there'd be the drunkards version that'd get you home without hurting or killing anybody and wouldn't allow you to drive it you'd been drinking. Works for me!

I found this rather interesting. It was, believe it or not, on my Dad's website, hahaha!

Manure

In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be
transported by ship and it was also before commercial
fertilizer's invention, so large shipments of manure
were common.
It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a
lot less than when wet, but once water (at sea) hit
it, it not only became heavier, but the process of
fermentation began again, of which a by-product is
methane gas.
As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you
can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to
build up below decks and the first time someone came
below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM!

Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it
was determined just what was happening.

After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped
with the term "Ship High In Transit" on them which
meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the
lower decks so that any water that came into the hold
would not touch this volatile cargo and start the
production of methane.
Thus evolved the term "S.H.I.T." (Ship High In
Transport) which has come down through the centuries
and is in use to this very day.

You probably did not know the true history of this
word.

Neither did I.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILL / SNOW ALREADY???

My middle son, Bill and his family still live in Jamestown, NY, outside of Buffalo. They actually get more snow than Buffalo in any normal winter but here it is early in October and they had weather advisories and travel bans already.

It was Bill's Birthday yesterday, he turned 27. My most argumentive son, I used to yell at him that he damn well better become an attorney. The academically smartest of my three sons, Bill is talking of going back to school. I hope he realizes his dream. All my sons have promise. They were jolted into a nasty reality when I went to prison. They'd all come back to live with me and found themselves on the street, along with all my belongings as they led me out in handcuffs. The suffering was deep for them, it cut to the bone. I can only hope that they learned from it all and are not bitter. My children were never handed a damn thing. Their Father died when they were little and it was a struggle. They're not rich in a monetary sense but they most certainly are when it comes to being genuine, kind and caring individuals. This is actually the mark of success. Some, they found on their own, some, I instilled or would like to think. Oh, they're not pushover pansy asses but they never rose to the top at someone elses expense either. They're NOT at the top in the business world but they are when it comes to being good people. Now, isn't that, what life's really all about?

I went into the drug store yesterday to buy a pack of cigarettes, a supposed quick stop in my rush to get home and beat the school bus with my nephew on it. I'm still heated about this for some reason.
I went and stood in line, waiting my turn. There was only one register open out of the two. An older sack o'shit was in front of me and one behind me. The one in front of me started in, telling the less than enthused sack o'shit at the register that she wanted to return the box of china she had in the cart. OK. Then, she says, "Would you just look at this receipt. It has a purchase on there that I didn't get either. The one that's $10." The sack at the register says what do ya mean you didn't buy this, it's on here? She calls for a manager. I cringe and wished I had a razor blade to do myself in and make a real scene.
The less than happy manager walks up, standing with some dull routine pride, rolling his eyes as if I didn't see it. Register sack tells the whole low down to the Manager. I watch the painful look on his face and am enjoying it, except for the fact that I'm in a hurry, I'm trying to behave, keep my cool. "We all must learn to wait our turn," Kindergarten 101
So, the tall dancing queen, sack o'shit at the register side steps to the register to her left. She starts to wait on the woman behind me. WTF? WTF people? I say nothing as I pick and choose my fights now. I will exercise some form of patience. I envision shooting her with the tazor gun, then turn it on the customer, aiming for her neck, right in the jugular. I am cussing her in my head. See, it's a two part inconsideration. Somebody with any sense of scruples would've, said to the register slut, that I was ahead of her. I think that swipe did it on purpose and if she didn't do it on purpose, she's an ilbred airhead. But then to add insult to injury, rub salt in the wound, that ol' sack o'shit Long Island reject asks for help getting a jacket off the wall hanging just out of reach. Oh, here we fucking go. I just want a lousy stinkin' pack of cigarettes, not a blow job or pedicure, not even a sandwich, my way. I've lost it now as I, under my breath, begin to bloop out, "bloody fucking bullocks." She voided the woman's purchase and asked her if she would kindly wait till they had the jacket and then ring her up next. She then directs her attention to me. "Can I help you?" Well, honey you can kiss my ass with your big mouth, I'm thinking but instead slap my $20 on the counter and say, all I want is a pack of Marlboro Menthol Kings in the box, pleeeeeeeeease. She gives me a look, a faint hint of sarcasm with out the guts to ride it out. I raise my eyebrow with a look like "Bitch ya don't want non of this, now gimme my fucking cigarettes before I take 'em out your funky, worthless, wannabe cute ass."
Of course, I placed Walgreens in the title of this post so when people google that name, this will come up. I say to Walgreen's; hire people who give a shit, are smart enough to see that the person behind the last customer they serviced would be next, that it's not appropriate to roll your eyes at a customer and show some respect for the customer. Too much to ask?

I think I fell on many hard times and it has shaped who I am. I've known I was like this for some time but I am a survivalist, a pack rat bordering on anal.
An example; I save paper towels, (my own)if hardly used and put them under the sink in an empty garbage bag box. They sit right along side the tissue box, stuffed with plastic grocery bags. What made me think of this was an incident from a few minutes ago.
I watered this one floor plant in my kitchen. It over flowed and I had a puddle on the floor when I just went in there. I went under the sink and pulled a gob of these paper towels out of the box and cleaned it up.
My Sister buys the huge Doomsday package of paper towels and we have plenty, yet I can't throw out a paper towel that I wiped my mouth with once. I can't justify it and it goes in the box under the sink.
I keep all things that in my mind may be of use at some point in my life. My Sister, Traci, just went out and bought a suspension shower curtain rod. We had one, already but she chose to by a new one. She put the old one beside the trash outside. I snuck it back in the house and stuck it in the closet. She throws stuff like that out all the time, usually, sneaking it out herself, hoping I won't see it and rescue it from the garbage men. But I'm usually on top of the program.
I'm not one of those lucky stiffs who've had more money than brains and have never been afforded the luxury of throwing good stuff out. She had two practically new pair of boys shoes in a bag for Goodwill, which is a step up from just throwing them out and I was actually impressed. She must've had an emotional break-down that day as she normally throws everything out. Well, those shoes ended up in a big box of stuff I mailed to my middle son Bill. There are two kids downstairs that live with their single Mom and have very little. Those new shoes were a treasure to those kids, just like Christmas in September.
I save ketchup, mustard and Taco Bell stuff too. I just can't help it.
But when they need this or that, they come to me.
When we were putting the new air conditioner in, we pulled out these two pieces of insulation that looked just like insoles for your shoe. Her boyfriend was gonna put them in a trash box and I told him to give 'em to me, I could use them in my shoes. He knew I was kidding at that moment but I'm not far from it. My sis gave me one of the best compliments she's ever bestowed upon me at that moment. She said, "Barb, if I was out in the Wild Wild West, I'd want you along for the ride."
Yes, I will survive and be the one who's recourceful, the "Ms.McGiver." If worse comes to worse, I'll make one helluva Bag Lady!!

NEW YORK STATE TROOPERS, PA. STATE TROOPERS AND THE CIA

The NYST, The PAST, and the CIA are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals. The President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into 3 different forests and has each of them try to catch it.

The CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.

The NYST's go in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit, and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.

The PAST's go in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten raccoon. The raccoon is yelling: "Okay! Okay! I'm a rabbit! I'm a rabbit!"

I've been in a bit of a funk and feeling just like the word itself.

Some really noteworthy comments were made. This was really good stuff, groundbreaking, set into law, a realistic approach to the whole situation.

Xmichra brought up the use of the word,"Obligation," in reference to the question,"What is a woman's 'Obligation' in a relationship? She became rather adamant and rightly so. I feel it does have a condescending tone to it and the modern woman would probably start throwing fruit at the mere utterance. We've come a long way baby, and there's no turning back.She also made this point..."Anyway, you also know that anything can happen, and if your relationship is built on anything other than a connection of spirit, you might as well save your thousands of dollars and not get married."

Nuggetmaven made the point that...sex shouldn't be the entire foundation for a relationship, but merely one of many bricks. Even if one brick is missing from a foundation, it's not enough to bring an entire building down. It eventually shifts, and adjusts. Healthy relationships are the same.

Miranda made the point, questionably...For sure if she doesn't do her 'duty' (yes I hate that expression) he will eventually seek elsewhere.
Yes, there was a time when it was considered,"a woman's wifely duty," to maintain her man, a sex on demand strategy. But there was also a time in women's history where a man could beat you as long as the rod was no thicker than his thumb, so the law stated. I dare some SOB to try that on me now but as I said, we've come a long way baby.

A pairing up of people fills a greater need than just sex, it is friendship, compassion, mutual respect, and each filling a need for the other that binds you until death. Considering the divorce rate to many people pair up for sex, and when the excitement wares off there goes the relationship. She has a thumb on the bigger picture. She points out the need for more in a relationship than sex. I think we all agree with this.

Canadianswiss, brought up the medical aspect and suggested counseling as a possible answer. She also said this..."In this case, I think she should get a counselor. I feel much of her not wanting sex anymore is in her head. Similar to men not going for a vasectomy, because they think that it will affect their sexual drive and performance. Her reproductive organs have been removed (by choice??) and I'm sure this affects her more mentally that physicaly."
CS may have a very valid point in the fact that the possibility exists that this woman may have more of a mindset problem. I think it may be a culmination of both mindset and the physical properties that can occur when a Hysterectomy is done. When I had my tubes tied at the tender age of 22, I had a momentary questioning of my own womanhood. Notice the word, "Momentary," as it was a fleeting glimpse and quickly passed.

**What I ommited in the original post was the fact that this friend is suffering because of this. An important addition to his malady is the fact that there is very little affection and this omission is paramount to this situation. The case is merit less without this simple word added to the situation or the understanding thereof.
He tried to initiate an affectionate relation and she does not reciprocate. But in her mind, is it possible that she equates affection with sex? He has, after all, admitted or stated that he's tried to be romantic and has caressed her and so on. She may have put up stop signs on any kind of closeness as it leads to sex with her, or in her mind. I have to admit, I feel for this guy and if he wasn't a stand up kinda guy, he wouldn't be coming to me in regards to the issue, seeking some sort of help. I think he cares very deeply for this woman. But I must agree with those of you that mentioned counseling, although it seemed to me, she was quite content leaving things as they are. He is not content. Again, I ask you,"What is her obligation in the relationship?" But this time I ask you in regards to, not merely sexual but in an affectionate premise?

I was busy doing standard paperwork today and for some reason, unknown to me, I flashed back to roughly 1966-67. I was allowed to walk to the library all by myself. I then got my first library card. I felt all grown up and knew I had to be responsible and take the books back on the date stamped on the card. Huge responsibility and I welcomed it. But what made me think of that, I don't know. It could be the crisp air of autumn. It tends to take me back more than any other time. We used to rake the leaves and then jump in the piles. Now, how frigin stupid is that if you think about it? You have to keep raking, over and over again. I think it has something to do with having to play outside. Back then, you didn't sit and watch TV. The only thing in the afternoon you hoped you could watch was Dark Shadows, the soap opera with Barnabus Collins. Back then, he was one creepy dude and we loved it.

I find that I'm pushing time right now, just like when I was in prison. See, you stop enjoying the days, you only live to get another one over. I called it pushing time. Something's amiss. The winds about to blow in a different direction. I can smell it!

CAMDEN, S.C. - The mother of a man accused of abducting and assaulting a 14-year-old girl who eventually was able to send a text message for help was charged Tuesday with helping her son elude authorities and survive in underground bunkers, a sheriff said.

The man, Vinson Filyaw, 36, was charged this weekend with kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old girl and holding her in an underground bunker. She was rescued Saturday.

On Tuesday, Sheriff Steve McCaskill said Filyaw's mother, 55-year-old Ginger Nell Cobb, was arrested after police learned she was working with Filyaw's common-law wife to provide him food, water and other supplies.

Filyaw's common-law wife, Cynthia Hall, was arrested last week.

Police had been looking for Filyaw since November, when an arrest warrant was issued in the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl. But he used an elaborate system of bunkers in the woods near his home to elude authorities and survived on supplies he received from the two women, the sheriff said.

Cobb would bring the items to Hall, who would then leave them for Filyaw to retrieve from an abandoned vehicle near his bunkers, McCaskill said.

"He would come out of the woods and get it ... at night or whenever," the sheriff said.

Cobb would not answer questions as she left the sheriff's office Tuesday. She was being held in jail, and a bond hearing was scheduled for Wednesday.

Filyaw was captured early Sunday and was being held at the county jail without bond. He also faces charges of possession of an incendiary device and impersonating an officer.

Police say Filyaw, wearing a shirt with the image of a sheriff's badge on it, abducted the girl as she walked home from a school bus stop Sept. 6. The teen was found 10 days later in a booby-trapped, roughly 8-foot-deep hole carved out of the side of a hill.

Authorities said the girl sent a text message to her mother on her captor's cell phone as he slept: "Hi mom," it read. "I'm in a hole across from Charm Hill where the big trucks go in and out. There's a bomb. Call police."

According to an incident report released Tuesday in the suspected November assault on the 12-year-old girl, Filyaw woke the girl, who was sleeping in the same bed as her mother, and threatened to hurt the mother if she said anything. He then took the girl to another room and sexually assaulted her, the report said.

The girl said she told her mother about the incidents, but nothing happened, according to the report. Authorities were alerted when the girl told a school guidance counselor.

It was unclear Tuesday whether Vinson Filyaw had been assigned a public defender.

DENVER - A woman was tied to a vehicle with a rope and dragged through suburban streets in a gruesome crime that left a trail of blood more than a mile long, police said.

Neighbors discovered the woman's body before dawn Monday about 20 miles south of Denver. On Tuesday, sheriff's deputies were still trying to learn her identity.

The victim's face was unrecognizable and an orange tow rope was found around her neck, said Nancy Foley, who lives next door to the house where the body was found.

She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates, and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her
things. On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of chardonnay.
When she had finished, she went into each and every room and stuffed half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollow of all of the curtain rods.
She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.
When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the
first few days. Then, slowly, the house began to
smell. They tried everything: cleaning, mopping, and airing the place out. Vents were
checked for dead rodents, carpets were steam cleaned, and air fresheners
were hung everywhere!
Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which
they had to move out for a few days, and in the end they even paid to
replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked. People stopped
coming over to visit. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit.

Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move. A month later, even though they had cut their price in
half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out, and, eventually, even the local Realtors refused to return their calls.
Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.
The ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely and said that she
missed her old home terribly and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back.
Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on a price that was about 1/10 of what the house had been worth, but only if she were to sign the papers that very day. She agreed, and, within the hour, his lawyers delivered the paperwork.
A week later, the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home, including the
curtain rods.

This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole because only the fittest survive thus improving the general health and speed of the entire herd.

In much the same way the human brain only operates as quickly as the slowest of it's brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells, as we all know, and naturally the alcohol attacks the slowest/weakest cells first....

So it is as plain as the nose on your face that regular consumption of Guinness will eliminate the weaker, slower brain cells thus leaving the remaining cells the best in the brain.

The end result, of course, is a faster more efficient brain.

So, after re-posting the last entry, my mind started to wander. What if I'm really retarded and don't know it? I'm mean do people that are retarded know that they are retarded? This is a serious question. I think that a person that is truly insane, I mean textbook insane, not my kinda insane, doesn't really know it? Is it possible that I'm retarded and nobody told me? I mean, you guys could really just be entertaining me, humoring me for the sake of kindness. A good Samaritan Complex, you may feel the need to be nice to me. I never trust a compliment from my Mom either. "Oh, Barbara, that poem is just wonderful." Now, she takes it and puts it on the refrigerator with a magnet and tells everybody, "Would you just look at what my Barbara did. Isn't it wonderful?" Meanwhile it's a turd and nobody's gonna tell her that it's a turd because they too have a good Samaritan Complex. In fact, many of you could have taken me under your wing, so to speak because you have a Jesus Complex and want to save my soul, one day at a time.
On a further note, what if I'm super grotesque and nobody has the heart to tell me. They wanna say, "Damn bitch, what the fuck happened? Were you born like that or hit with an ugly stick?" I Mean it's all a matter of perspective, right? I mean who says who's beautiful and who's not? Maybe they're demented? Like these runway models. Some of them, in my opinion are just hideous. They look like walking skeletons with eyebrows that Bert from Bert & Ernie is wishing he had. They've got purple makeup all the way to their Bert eyebrows and they're wearing an equally atrocious outfit that I wouldn't wear to a Circus, even if I was paid as the Main Attraction. Who said they were beautiful? Who makes up these rules? If they think that's beauty, the total package, then I must look like the ass of a Gorilla.

I'M OK WITH BEING OK ; A RE-POST

I'm really feeling 47 years old today. I woke at 5:30 because my arm hurt like a toothache. It is the kinda morning that you could've easily slapped and cussed your own mother out for ever being born.
I went to the Orthopedic back in August. I was complaining about my neck pain, that's why I went. Of course, he asked me about all my surgeries and such. "I had two ribs taken out of my neck in '88. I've had 8 surgeries on my left arm..."
He looks at my elbow and says, "I really don't like your arm." Well, how do you take a statement like that? Hey, my arm says for you to kiss it right on the elbow buddy. But that's not what he meant. He sent me for X-rays and I came back the following week, X-rays in hand. He looked at the ones of my neck. "Oh, they don't look too bad. And you are telling me that your neck hurts worse than your elbow? You must have a compressed nerve,hmmm" He sits looking at the ones of my elbow, over and over. "Well, Barbara, on a scale of 1 to 4...this is a 10. This is probably the worst one I've seen in my career and I've been doing this a long time." The nerve of him, talking about my elbow like that. I should've told him, I didn't think he was all that, either but I was respectful. This guy carries a big scalpel, ya know. "This looks like the X-ray of an 89 year old woman. Tell me about your surgeries?" So, off I run with the saga. I told him that in '77 I shattered it in more than a half a dozen pieces. They used 4 pins and a screw. They then, one by one took out the screw and three of the pins. The 4th, they couldn't get out. God that was an awful surgery. They moved the ulna nerve. Then, I broke it clean in half and walked around for three days with it like that during my hostage days. I fell so hard it bent the pin. "What hostage days?" Long story Doc! So, we're talking about joint replacement. "Elbow's are a tricky business. They're not like knee or hip replacement," he says. So, he's sending me to a guy, apparently an hour away but he's a Specialist at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Yes, folks it's come down to this. I've lived with the pain of this elbow for 29 years. It's a little scary to me, you know the prospect of having an implant. They take the existing bone and remove it and replace it with the implant. You can never guarantee the implant will not be rejected or won't wear out. Once your bone is removed they can't put it back. What a decision. Damn, life can be cruel. "Uh, can I get that bone to go, you know, in a doggie bag?"

I've known all my life that I wasn't beautiful. I think I'm ok and I've seen worse. There are still days when I look in the mirror and say to myself, " alright your lookin' ok today." I'm ok with being ok. But the older you get the more you have to deal with the fact that your mind says you're young but your body says," you wanna do what you ol' bitch?" Then, as you notice the ever subtle changes in your body you find yourself saying stuff like, " I can remember when I didn't have to wear a bra and you didn't know it. They stood up on their own." Now, I gotta deal with my nipples, they keep getting stuck or pinched in my belt. I gotta buy,"Lardash Jeans," in the big girls section and if I try wearing a girdle it makes my neck look fat. So, you begin to come to terms with the actuality of it all, getting older and you start saying stupid shit like, "I'm not getting older, I'm getting better." Better at what? It sure as hell ain't sex. I tried that on top thing not long ago and was wore out in 5 minutes. No, I guess I'm best suited on my back (something I have been good at for a long time). Now, I find myself criticizing these barely clad young ladies, "Oh, she needs to put some clothes on. What a slut!" Then, I'm thinking to myself how I used to wear the daisy dukes with my ass hanging out and little nothing tops or cut off t-shirts, short skirts that covered only the bare minimum legally allowed by law outside of a strip club setting. Oh well, every dog has his ass in the sun, so they say and my ass ain't in the sun anymore. I gotta deal with it. The tattoo I got at a D.C. Tat parlor, when I was sixteen years old, was of a cobra wrapped around a rose. It was 6 inches high, back in the day when nice girls didn't get tattoo's, but I never said I was nice. It now looks like an Anaconda tangled in some dead flowers and no you can't see it! But I was one ferocious bitch in my day, I didn't say pretty just ferocious. And I'm ok with being ok!

Lil' Sis does her damnedest to be a gourmet, she really does. Not long ago she made this concoction with a sliced tomato,avocado, Chevre'/Goat Cheese and a sprig of fresh Cilantro from our little herb garden. She then doused it with fresh lime and lemon juice. I don't even remember what else we had with it. As we sat down to eat, myself, sis and her boyfriend, I went to put fresh ground pepper on it. She went into a tizzy."You don't do that." Her boyfriend pipes in, yea that's a big no no with her. "People don't do that before they taste it," was thrown in my face, with a very scolding tone by my sister. She's trying to school me. "These are seasoned and you should taste it before you do anything.Most chefs and any fine dining is like that." OK, now I'm getting real fucking irritated and I spit back, "Any chef that behaves that way is a pretentious asshole. Did you forget the fact that I've worked in many fine dining restaurants and have never encountered that?" See this is why, I don't fake the funk. Fuck that pretentious bullshit. If I want salt and pepper on my food, I'll damn well have it. And it tasted that shit anyway and needed salt and pepper. I've worked with some of the best Chefs in America, I've been around the block a time or two and this is why you bunch of posers can kiss my ass. Anyway...
The point of the post is not that at all. She made a really good dinner Sunday night. She slow cooked a fresh pork roast and made pulled pork, homemade cole slaw and corn on the cob. They grilled the corn and toasted the potato rolls on the grill too. It was all fun and games till I got up and grabbed the butter and salt. "Well, it's already seasoned," she said, this time with a less condescending tone. I turned, ready to fight, with salt and butter in hand. I opened my corn, sealed in foil and began to butter it, lots of butter and salt. I saved it for last. Something just wasn't right. I asked what they seasoned it with? They had used this stuff called Hot Shot, a red and black pepper mixture. I ate my corn but as I sat there, I realized that some people just don't realize that some things are sacred. Corn on the Cob should not be played with and you don't mess with a persons corn. Hell, it's as unAmerican as putting potatoes in Apple Pie. It's a whole Communist thing to do that. I may have to contact the authorities about this. Don't mess with the corn!!

Haffey, about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds, had convictions including conspiracy to commit aggravated murder, robbery, drug charges and possession of burglary tools. Neighbors said Kuhnhausen's size -- 5-foot-7 and 260 pounds -- may have given her an advantage.

Ralph "Bucky" Phillips was taken into custody this evening and surrendered without further incident. People are quite indignant about this whole scenario and the way it was handled. It was a demented seasaw of Bucky supporters yelling "Go Bucky Go" and then the haters were yelling "Die Bucky Die." On Topix.net, it has become a war zone, with people slinging mud, hate, condolance and the most mix of emotions I"ve ever seen. It's a sad state of affairs and I personally have become quite sickened by it. I hold Law Enforcement accountable or rather to a higher standard and at the same time, let it be known that I stand behind them. I don't agree that they handled the whole affair the best way it could have been handled. But there is no text book case for this type of thing. But it brought out the very best and worst in people and attitudes. I'm so glad it's over. My condolances to the Family's of the Trooper that was killed and my prayers for the Trooper who is still in a coma as of this writing. I also send my condolances to the Horton Family, who have suffered in this mess. Brad Horton, no doubt, was mistaken for Bucky Phillips and suffered for it with his life. Last but not least, let there be an understanding of how this was handled, how people chose to behave, act out, insinuate, berate and agitate. On the upside, I saw some brave folks standing up for the rights and what's right, fair and just in this terrible situation. A true "American Tragedy."

BUCKY PHILLIPS UPDATE

I just got home from work and have been looking into the Bucky Phillips Updates (Click on the Pic). Apparently, they have Phillips,"Contained," in the Cable Hollow Golf Course area. This is a very rural golf course, my Dad and brothers and sons used to play. I don't know whether to laugh or cry but here are a few excerpts from the Forum @ Topix.net...

"It looks like a tap-in for Tiger here on the 18th, for his unprecendented sixth victory here at legendary Cable Hollow Golf Club and Shooting Range. Tiger addresses the ball...WAIT someone just ran across the green, scooped up Tiger's ball and scampered crazily across the club parking lot into a waiting '58 Impala with Nevada plates...Whats that lunatic doing???? Tiger is dumbfounded but Jack is drawing down on the vehicle!!! SHOTS FIRED!!and the vehicle just crashed into the hot dog stand on the ninth!!! STAND BY SPORTSFANS!!

Cable Hollow Golf Club and Shooting Range announce an immediate suspension of all production, sales and consumption of the controversial and nutritionally suspect "BUCKY BURGER". After the latest catastrophe documented in an earlier report, the staff here has decided to halt sales of the disputed sandwich. The burger, which is really processed chicken liver, slathered in old spice and soaked in cheap whisky was a hit with locals until the celebrity menace crashed a '58 Impala into the converted hotdog stand on Cable Hollow's ninth hole, where Local law enforcement officials had been dining prior to the interuption of the Annual Cable Hollow Golf course and Shooting Range ProAM.

Authorities report several civilian "pro-bucky" casualties who have been inflicted with disturbing symptoms which include nausea, disorientation and projectile diarrhea. No further details are available, but reporters are standing by in the event of any breaking news. From Cable Hollow, in Russell, PA this is Serious News Announcer saying Good Night all, and God Bless."

RALPH "BUCKY" PHILLIPS MOST WANTED

A car was abandoned, apparently after police presence was made known and a foot pursuit ensued. Click the banner for an Update!!

I lived in Jamestown,N.Y., from the age of 17 on and off for years. I once drank with this fellow, Bucky Phillips, or so if memory serves me, I remember him. Whatever, he's wanted big time for the shooting of three State Troopers in N.Y.
He broke out of Alden Correctional Facility with a can opener. He was then pulled over by a Trooper and he alledgedly shot him in the stomach. That Trooper survived. In the mist of this manhunt a man, Brad Horton was driving on an ATV, when a Trooper tried to stop him, possibly because he resembled Bucky. The trooper was alledgedly drug byt the ATV and shot Brad Horton four times killing him.A crime spree has been unleashed with cabins broken in to, cars stolen and a gun store had 40 weapons stolen. In the investigation that ensued, of Bucky Phillips, his family; Ex-Girlfriend, Daughter and her husband were arrested for the supposed Aiding and Abetting of Bucky. The daughter had just had a baby and was breast feeding her child. Children and Youth took the baby, along with her other two children. A surveilance team was posted somewhere, undercover on the property of the Ex's. Someone, and they assume it was Bucky, opened fire on the Troopers, wounding them both. A high powered rifle pierced the bullet proof vest of the one Trooper, exiting his abdomen. He is in a drug induced coma as of this writing. The other Trooper was shot in the leg, in an artery. They had to amputate the Troopers leg. He then succumbed to those injuries and died. You can read this whole story on AMW by clicking on the Logo.

I have been enthralled with a Forum on Topix.net that discusses the whole affair.Opinions vary, some are downright ignorant with their "Go Bucky Go" mentality. For some he is a folk hero. I can't understand that mentality. But it has been heated as people have lost faith in the LEO's (Law Enforcement Officers) and basically they all have mixed emotions. The fact that Brad Horton was shot and they say that the Trooper thought it was Bucky, therefore he shot the guy, has only fueled the people who have lost trust in the Troopers. I don't know if that Trooper was drug by the ATV and he was defending his own life. People are questioning it and his injuries. They have not released this Troopers injuries, to my knowledge but it is rumored that his boots were torn up. It is also rumored that he was barely hurt and was a young man, thinking he had or was trying to apprehend Bucky Phillips. As I said, it has fueled and spurred peoples disallusion of trust and sound thinking on the part of the Troopers.
Personally, I can't call it. I do believe they have a big problem on their hands as far as their image being tarnished. I'd hope they would realize this and work on damage control. Some mixed emotions run rampant on these forums and it simply fascinated me. I do hope that they take this guy in alive and no one else is hurt in the interim. And I hope they all search for the truth, Troopers and Citizens alike and take a long hard look at their behavior under fire, literally and figuratively.

See, if you look hard enough, on any given day, you'll find reason to be grateful. Today, mine is that I don't have a nose like this. Always self-conscience of my nose, this somehow comforts me. They say the females are attracted to the ones that have the biggest nose. Go figure! Every one of my husbands had a prominent nose and you know what they say about a man with a big nose...

The next level consists of bands that are made up of many unimale groups (Bennett and Sebastian, 1988; Yeager, 1990a). All-male groups are made up of juvenile, adolescent, and adult males (Yeager, 1990a). Bennett and Sebastian (1988) found that in the Samunsam Wildlife Sanctuary in Sarawak that the average group size of the unimale groups was 9 individuals. Yeager (1990a) found that at Tanjung Puting National Park the sizes of unimale groups ranged from 3 to 23 individuals. Groups will come together during the evening near rivers to sleep in trees (Bennett and Sebastian, 1988). The same groups tend to associate with each other more than with other groups (Yeager, 1991a). These same groups have overlapping sleeping site areas (Yeager, 1991a).

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Steve Irwin, the quirky Australian naturalist who won worldwide acclaim, was killed by a stingray barb through the chest on Monday while diving off Australia's northeast coast, emergency officials and witnesses said.

"Steve was hit by a stingray in the chest," said local diving operator Steve Edmondson, whose Poseidon boats were out on the Great Barrier Reef when the accident occurred.

"He probably died from a cardiac arrest from the injury," he said.
